Whistler Freeride Experience
West Coast Freeride Guides and Bear Back Biking have teamed up to offer the ultimate in BC freeride mountain bike adventures! We can now offer an all-inclusive, guided mountain bike tour based in Whistler and visiting British Columbia's premier freeriding towns such as, Squamish, Vancouver's famous North Shore, and Pemberton.
Whistler is a legendary riding destination and is a must for every freerider and downhill mountain biker.
There are over 200km of lift accessible, gravity fed, adrenaline fueled descending trails. Whistler offers something for every level of rider from gentle, banked cruisers through the Coastal forest to tight and twisty single track - perfect for intermediate riders. For the armor clad, full face wearing, 50lb. bike group there are steep rock faces, gnarly root strewn lines, drop offs of all descriptions and more. There are 3 Skills Centers, each designed for a different ability level. To add a little excitement they have developed a Biker Cross Course with huge banked corners, rhythm sections, table tops and doubles, a dirt jump park and the Boneyard slopestyle course, designed by Richie Schley.
Our trips are based in Whistler but include riding in other iconic destinations. Our all-inclusive trip has been specifically designed for riders from the UK. We will take you to all the famous trails you've seen in the videos and on Drop In TV. In Whistler you will ride, A Line, Joyride, Schleyer, the new Garbonzo area and much more. Then just when you think you can't grip the bars any more we will take you to trails in Squamish, Pemberton and Vancouver's North Shore and some local secret's in Whistler. Our 11-passenger van is used to shuttle our guests to the top of each trailhead - saving energy for the descent. The fully equipped van is also used to transfer you between each destination.
We will show you fast flowing descents, steep technical lines, and as many stunts and drops as you can handle. BYOB - Bring Your Own Bike or rentals can be arranged.

Resort
Whistler is an internationally acclaimed pedestrian village and has all the usual resort amenities including shops, bars, clubs, restaurants and caf's. With breathtaking scenery and the opportunity to partake in almost every summer outdoor activity imaginable, even beaches, Whistler is one of the premier resorts in the world. For those of you who wish to have some aprs beverages (beer and liquor) and snacks on hand, the liquor and grocery store is just around the corner. If a full day of biking is not enough and you have some extra energy to burn, the Meadow Park Recreation Center is a short bus ride.
Accommodation
Our Whistler chalet is near the center of town a short ride from most trail heads, just a 5 minute warm-up ride to the mountain bike park, a 10 minute walk or a 3 minute bus ride into the village. The bus stop is right outside and passes by every 15 minutes. It is very comfortably furnished and features ensuite rooms with gas fireplaces, a large lounge and dining area, secure bike storage and a large deck complete with hot tub.
The Chalet is a modern, beautifully finished 4 bedroom property. The upstairs is a log beamed open plan living area comprising lounge, dining area and kitchen. The property is finished to the highest specification with fire places in every room, ensuites, heated bathroom floors and a fantastic homely ambiance. Did we mention the Jacuzzi hot tub on the back deck and the fantastic views from the spacious upper BBQ deck? There is secure storage for your bikes, a fully stocked bike maintenance shop and laundry facilities.
The lounge has all the amenities; log beamed vaulted ceilings, spacious leather sofa's, cable TV and a stereo.
