Les Arc's Resort
Les Arc's is divided into several small villages, one is Vallandry. The Village of Vallandry is perfectly nestled in the trees at 1600m. Vallandry has some excellent mountain bike trails. We had found everything a mountain biker could want: endless single tracks, steep technical trails, striking scenery and chair lifts to get you all over the mountain. Vallandry has all the normal ski resort amenities. The village has several bars, restaurants, shops, a supermarket, cinema or pubs and bars. Arc1800 is a short 25 minute walk away along the summer road.
Les Arc's is the biggest summer resort in the Alps, meaning there is plenty of other stuff to do. Walking, rafting, golf and paraponting are some of the other activities that can be arranged, keeping non-cycling partners busy.
Les Arc's Accommodation
The Chalet Mont Blanc is a lovely apartment style chalet situated at the top of Vallandry, providing doorstep riding. The first lift is less than 100m away and the single track ends at the doorstep. It also has outstanding views across the valley.
Furnished in a traditional style, it gives you a warm and cosy base for your holiday. The bar and restaurant adjoining the chalet offers a sun terrace to sip a beer after a hard days riding and serves great meals that would satisfy any hungry mountain biker. The chalet is divided up into apartments of various sizes. Most of the rooms sleep two and have en-suite or shared en-suite facilities.
We also have access to various chalets and apartments throughout the village. These vary in size and can be catered or self-catered and are ideal for large groups and families.
