West Coast Freeride Guides and Alpine Highs have teamed up to offer the ultimate in European mountain bike holidays. We can now offer an all-inclusive, guided or un-guided mountain bike vacations in Les Arc's, France. Les Arc's and the local area is some of the best in the Alps, with over 100km of marked and graded trails to suit every level of rider. For the more extreme rider there are hundreds of unmarked, steep, rocky and technical trails to be explored.
Les Arc's is located about halfway up the mountain so there is a huge variety of terrain. From the snow covered glacier at 2800m you can descend along rocky single track down to alpine meadows and pine forests to the valley floor at 800m. Then meander along the banks of the Isere River to catch the Funicular back to the top again. Or of course there is always the option of riding back up. There are several Alpine passes in the local area that the Tour de France visits on a regular basis and some of the best off road terrain is accessible by a small climb.
