North Shore
Only 25 minutes from metropolitan downtown Vancouver is home to the legendary man-made trails of the North Shore. Known around the world as founding land of freeriding. The North Shore (Cypress & Fromme Mountain and Mount Seymour) is a playground for riders. To experience the North Shore is to expect the best maintained bike specific trails known to man. These 3 mountains on the "Shore" harbour trails that are fast and flowy or slow and stunted. This mecca, located at the foot of the rugged coastal mountains are featured in almost every mountain bike film produced in BC.
Squamish
A short drive south of Whistler, is the Outdoor Recreation Capital of Canada, known as Squamish. Squamish is located in the flat lands of the Squamish River Delta at the north end of Howe Sound. If you are an adrenaline junky, Squamish is your "score." This drug has 3 main spots to check out; Valleycliffe subdivision, Mamquam Forest Serve Road and Alice Lake. All 3 of these arenas are offer different types and levels of riding. Valleycliffe offers up amazing slick rock and epic singletrack. The Mamquam area features the challenging and gnarly freeride trails. For the most part, Alice Lake hosts multi-use trails that are double-track and is a great introduction to mountain biking. Regarded as one of the top 25 areas in the world to ride.
Pemberton
Situated below the majestic Mt. Currie in the central Coast Mountains in an agriculturally rich environment known as Pemberton Valley. Pemberton Valley is widely known for it's potato farming and believe it or not, this is where the Idaho Potato was engineered. Aside from it's famous potato farming, Pemberton is also known for it's diverse mountain bike trails. The main riding spots are located on the north side of the valley and are accessed by FSR (Forest Service Road). This arid landscape hosts a range of trails, steep, technical or challenging stunts.
