West Coast Freeride Guides and Bear Back Biking have teamed up to offer a 14 day mountain bike experience. This is a must do if you are a serious mountain biker! The 14 day trip will showcase 1 week in Whistler to ride the famous Whistler Mountain Bike Park and 1 week of exploring the interior of British Columbia. While in Whistler you will live in-style at Bear Back Biking's one of a-kind accommodations, just minutes from the village, the park and the night life. The second week will be spent touring the interior of BC, Kamloops, Sun Peaks, Kelowna, and Williams Lake. These are just a few locations that have been used to film some of the worlds best mountain bike videos; The Collective, Kranked, NWD and many more.
Whistler, BC
Whistler is a legendary riding destination and is a must for every freerider and downhill mountain biker. Whistler offers something for every level of rider from beginner valley trails to expert freeride trails in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. There is over 200km of lift accessible; gravity fed mountain trails and an endless supply of valley trail that surround the resort of Whistler. While riding the mountain bike park it's a must to ride the famous A-Line, Joyride, Schleyer, Dirt Merchant the new Garbonzo area, the Boneyard and BikerCross. If the park is not your style of riding then try some of the many trails throughout the Whistler valley; Comfortably Numb (an epic 6 hour, 27 km ride), A River Runs Through It (locals favourite), Kill Me Thrill Me (technical cross country) and many more that deserve mentioning.
Interior of BC
The interior of BC holds some of mountain biking gems. Placing like Kamloops, Kelowna, and Williams Lake are featured on an annual basis in mountain bike movies and now it is your turn to ride them. This vast region of the interior of British Columbia includes some of the most rugged and remote areas in Western Canada. Unspoiled rivers, valleys and endless mountains are there to explore in the interior of BC, we will explore them by mountain bike.
